GENERAL INFORMATION

1. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
All riders must notify the organizers of their arrival and departure at least one week before the event’s commencement. This i s crucial for the arrangement of transportation and logistics. If this is not followed, the organizers will not provide transportation for the teams, and the responsibility will lie solely with the riders to manage their own travel to and from the venue.
- ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS
• Accommodation will be provided from 1 5 November 2025 onwards, and riders are required to vacate the accommodation by 12:00 noon on 18th November 2025.
• No accommodation will be provided for teams arriving before the designated period.
• Teams arriving earlier than 15 November 2025 are required to arrange their own accommodation for the extra days before the event. They will be responsible for their own transportation from the railway station or airport to their accommodation. - RIDER LICENSES
All participants must comply with the Rider License Guidelines of the CFl. Riders must have a valid license issued by the CFl. Riders must ensure that they are properly licensed and meet the required standards as per the license regulations of CFl, ensuring their eligibility for participation in the event.

4. Ceremonies
Participation I n the opening and closing ceremonies is mandatory for all riders. Failure to do so will result in a penalty being imposed, in accordance with the regulations. These ceremonies are an important part of the event and reflect the discipline and professionalism expected from all riders.
- Sportsmanship
Riders must compete with true sportsmanship and uphold the values of fairness and respect. Any form of unsportsmanlike behavior, such as aggression, verbal abuse, or cheating, will not be tolerated. Riders found engaging in such behavior will face disciplinary action under the rules set by the Cycling Federation of India (CFl). Athletes must maintain integrity and respect for their
fellow competitors, officials, and the sport itself.
6 . POINTS & RANKING SYSTEM O F CFI
The results of this event shall be considered and included in the Points & Ranking System of the Cycling Federation of India.

REGULATIONS – at Statue Of Unity
ARTICLE: GENERAL
• 1.1 The Government of Gujarat is organizing “The Unity Ride” under the guidance of the Cycling Federation of India. All technical activities will be managed by the Cycling Federation of India.
- 1.2 The event will follow the rules of the Union Cyclists International (UCI) and the Cycling Federation of India (CFI). These rules will apply for anything not covered in this document.
ARTICLE 2: TYPE OF EVENT
• The competition is only open to Elite categories for both Men and Women.
ARTICLE 3: TEAM MANAGERS MEETING
• The Team Managers’ Meeting will be held a s per UCI regulations (Article 1.2.087) i n the presence of the Commissaires Panel a t the venue decided by the Organizer.
ARTICLE 4. EQUIPMENT
• As per the UCI Frameset Approval Procedure, all framesets have the obligation to carry a UCI label of their approval, t o b e used i n competition. Checks will be conducted by the Commissaires.
- The equipment used i n competition must meet the prevailing quality and safety standards for bicycles as per UCI. Moreover, modifying equipment used in competition in relation to products supplied by the manufacturer is prohibited for obvious safety reasons.
ARTICLE 5. Race Numbers
(Bib Numbers):
During road events (i.e., mass start events), rider numbers must be fixed on the outer layer of the
jersey/skinsuit and not placed in pin-less number fixation systems/pockets.
ARTICLE 6. BRAKE HOOD BODY INCLINATION
The center plane of the Brake Hood Body must align with the center plane of the Traditional Handlebars (Drop area. To ensure that the braking system may be
operated both safely and a s designed (or intended), by pulling on the levers with the hands on the lever supports, a maximum inclination of 10 degrees is permitted between the two planes (see illustrations below).

ARTICLE 7. PENALTIES
As per UCI/CFl rules, a necessary Penalty will apply to the riders who fail to adhere to the regulations of the event.
ARTICLE 8. RESPONSIBILITIES
• All the riders must ensure to race in the true spirit of sportsmanship and refrain from any unsportsmanlike behavior. Non-compliance shall invite disciplinary action as per the rules of the CFI.
•Kindly advise all the riders to observe discipline o n and off the field and it should be strictly followed.
• All participants shall refrain from talking to the media without permission from the authorities. Any complaints whatsoever may be made to the race director or the organizing secretary.
• The organizers and CFIwill not, under any circumstances, be liable for any accidents or damage or loss that occurs during training and competitions.
• The organizers and CFl decline all responsibilities towards the riders and others i n case o f a n accident.
• For all cases that are not covered by these specific regulations, the UCI rules will apply. Any problem, grievances, or issues will be solved by the Organizers, the Commissaires Panel, and the CFI Officials

Brief History:
The statue was built as an ode to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first home minister of independent India. He was responsible for uniting all 562 princely states of the country to build the Republic of India.
About Place: October 3lst, 2018, marked the inauguration of the world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity, against the backdrop of the dramatic Satpura and Vindhyachal hills i n Kevadia, Gujarat. The 182-metre (600 feet aprox.) statue is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of independent India. The colossal monument towers over River Narmada, a tribute to India ‘from the people of Gujarat’ to the leader who placed people’s welfare first. The Statue of
Unity overlooks the vast surroundings and the river basin of the Narmada River
and the sprawling Sardar Sarovar dam. I t stands on the Sadhu Bet hillock, connected by a 300-metre bridge, which offers access from the mainland to the statue.
